Registration

Official registration to the Youth Assembly can only be done online through the Friendship Ambassadors Foundation’s website. Please follow the guidelines and requirements below.

    • Delegates must be at least 16 years old by July 1, 2020
    • Proven track record of leadership experience, school, or community involvement
    • Interest in global affairs, sustainable development, and youth issues
    • Proficiency in English (Intermediate Level)
    • All interested applicants should read the Terms and Conditions before filling out the online registration form. Registrants must abide by the Participant Code of Conduct.
    • Registration forms will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and based on eligibility requirements. A registration fee is required to process your application.
    • The registration form cannot be saved at any point and can only be submitted once all required information is fulfilled.
    • The submission of the registration form does not automatically guarantee acceptance. Payment will be returned to registrants who did not meet our eligibility requirements.
    • Upon submission of the form, the registrant will receive an auto-response email confirming the reservation.
    • Registrants will receive an email confirming their registration upon acceptance of their application and verification of their payment.
  • With exclusive access to the 26th Youth Assembly Virtual platform, the participant will be able to:

    • Build your own profile and connect with speakers and other delegates within the platform.
    • Engage in live or simulive webcasts, live Q&A, and polls presented by notable experts and organizations.
    • Enrich the discussion on certain topics by participating in forums before or after each session.
    • Get access to the recordings of concluded sessions for further review or reflection.
    • View or download additional resources provided by presenters during their sessions.
    • Share your talent or witness others by taking part in the CultureFest Talent showcase, which will be presented virtually during the conference.
    • Share the beauty of your country’s tradition and culture through your local art, fashion, cuisine, or language.
    • Apply to present the exceptional work you are doing among other delegates to share ideas and inspire action.

    Conference only – $165 USD

    Dates: Conference (August 7–9, 2020)

    Includes:

    • 3-day access to the 26th Youth Assembly Virtual platform from August 7–9, 2020
    • Extended access to our community platform – archived webcasts, discussion forums, messages, and resources within the platform – until August 31st

    Full Program – $230 USD (No slots available)

    Dates: Pre-conference sessions (July 8, 15, 22, 2020), Conference (August 7–9, 2020)

    Includes:

    • One-month access to the 26th Youth Assembly Virtual platform from July 8–August 9, 2020
    • Extended access to our community platform – archived webcasts, discussion forums, messages, and resources within the platform – until August 31st
  • Registration forms will not be processed without full payment.

    We accept American Express, Discover Card, MasterCard, and Visa credit cards as forms of payment. Registrants who completed payment using Credit Card method will be notified regarding their registration and payment confirmation within 5 business days after registration submission. If the registrant cannot pay by credit card, please contact conference@faf.org.

  • Discounts are available through our ambassadors, delegation program leaders, and program partners. At this time, no sponsorship or financial aid is available to support applicants. We suggest the applicants check local organizations for sources of subsidy and support. 

  • Interested delegations (groups of 5 or more delegates) are required to fill out the Delegation Program Interest Form. The interest form will be reviewed, and a determination will be made on the delegation’s eligibility. Qualifying delegations will receive an email with instructions on how to complete the registration of its delegates. Please note that there must be 5 or more members in order to be considered a delegation.
