Andrew Macdonald, Ed. D.
Andrew Macdonald is an international education executive who is driven by his mission of creating a better world through education. He has held senior executive positions in leading education organizations including Renaissance Learning, Kaplan Virtual Education, and Wilson Language Training in the areas of international education, literacy improvement, formative and summative assessment, and online learning. Andrew has cross-functional experience in marketing, business development, logistics, HR, IT, academic services, finance, professional development, and customer service.
Most recently, he was the Chief Schools Officer for the International Baccalaureate a global non-profit education foundation where he was responsible for the support of over 6000 schools in 150 countries. Andrew is a lifelong learner and holds Doctorate in Education from Northeastern University in Boston, MA; an M.B.A in International Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey.
