The Youth Assembly

Impact Challenge

The Impact Challenge invites participating Delegates to develop original, impactful, and innovative solutions to human development, peace and security, and environmental issues outlined in the 2030 Agenda. Participants will design and pitch proposals for a social impact project of their own creation. The winning participants – chosen by a panel of international experts – will be awarded and connected to resources to help launch their vision into action.

Application Deadline

Register to The Youth Assembly by June 3, 2019, to be eligible to participate in the competition.

How to join

Eligibility

Participants of The Youth Assembly Impact Challenge are leaders and changemakers in their communities with an enthusiasm for social innovation. Applicants must be delegates of the 24th  Session of The Youth Assembly between the ages of 16 and 28, and have a clear vision for impactful change.

Prize

The winners will:

  • receive their award during the closing ceremony of The Youth Assembly
  • be featured prominently on our global platforms
  • receive mentorship on social entrepreneurship
  • earn the opportunity to pitch their ideas to experts in the field, and receive seed funding for the implementation of their projects

All finalists will receive feedback to further develop and improve their social impact project proposals.
