How do we promote youth action to accelerate progress on #GlobalGoals by 2030?

The Decade of Youth Action is a Friendship Ambassadors initiative created as a response to the United Nations Secretary-General’s call for accelerated solutions to our world’s biggest challenges. The initiative aims to mobilize all sectors of society to engage youth and support youth-led initiatives that advance the Sustainable Development Goals.

We are facing an unprecedented time in our modern history as a global pandemic impacts the world in so many ways. As we work towards the SDGs by 2030, the UN underscored the importance of global solidarity and turning “this crisis into an impetus to achieve the SDGs.”

To guide our work, we have developed an inaugural Declaration of Priorities focusing on three areas – Environmental Sustainability, Human Development, and Peace. The Declaration is an inaugural document shaped by community-wide consultations with the Global Action and Impact Network and YA25 Delegates.
