Robin Gabrielle Lim
Robin Gabrielle Lim is a youth leader who is driven by her mission to create a better world by empowering her peers to take on development issues about inequality and sustainability.
Being brought up in an all-girls school, Robin knew that empowering young women was the key to social transformation. She took on intensive leadership roles within the University Student Government as the Legislative Assembly Representative and the Vice-Chairperson for Students’ Rights and Welfare. She discusses and reviews existing integral policies, programs, and projects done by the University. As well as pass resolutions and legislations that are of relevance to the studentry.
Not to mention, she led various projects such as a Gender Equality Forum and worked under the Filipino Youth Summit. There, she perceived that sustainable development relies on ending discrimination towards women and providing equal opportunities for education and employment.
Moreover, Robin is passionate about business and is currently taking her bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management at De La Salle University. With her talent and skills in marketing, she co-founded The Amigo Coffee which is a youth-led social enterprise that embraces local coffee by adapting a sustainability framework to champion the Philippine heritage.
As a 2020 Youth Assembly Delegate, Robin continues to be passionate about empowering the youth to become leaders who strive to create a better world through social entrepreneurship, leadership, and community-building.
