Nicholas Onwumere is a citizen of Nigeria. Born in the South West region of Nigeria, Lagos state. He is from Imo state. He graduated high school in 2014. Attended the University of Lagos to further his career in pharmacy. He lost his Father in the year 2016. It was a very traumatic moment in his life as he was the last child of his family and the closest to his father. He had to leave college due to a mental breakdown. In 2018, he decided to move to the United States to continue his education.
He attends Prince George’s Community College (PGCC). His majors are a pharmacy and political science. Nicholas is the founder and CEO of the Children Healthcare Initiative and Education Foundation (CHIEF). He is a director of Nichben Pharmaceutical Industries Nigeria Ltd. He is a member of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) and an ambassador of the Student Government Association in PGCC.
CHIEF is an organization that focuses on good health and quality education of children in Africa. The foundation supports all the sustainable development goals but focuses more on SDGs 3 & 4 which are Good Health and Quality Education respectively. The organization gives aid to children in Africa who do not have access to adequate treatments and quality education.
Attending the FAF Youth Assembly increased his mindset on the different challenges faced in the world. Nicholas’ foundation (CHIEF) has been a blessing and a source of pride for him and it gladdens his heart to help and promote others.
