Bio
Nandini Tewari is an active student leader working towards integrating global development and healthcare. She is currently a student at the University of Guelph, pursuing an undergraduate degree in Neuroscience. Nandini has worked alongside many Non-Profit organizations to bring light to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. Most recently, she has been working as the President for her own university chapter for DoctorsforDoctors. The organization accomplishes its mission by empowering the local youth in Nicaragua to be agents of change in their communities and breaking the cycle of poverty in families.
She is working towards future projects focusing on SDG’s 4 and 5 and strongly believes in the importance of providing youth with a stable platform in order to enhance leadership. As an Ambassador, she believes an action-oriented mindset is vital in creating a sustainable impact in communities. She resolutely believes that the Youth Assembly has allowed her the opportunity to collaborate with international leaders, in order to work towards a better future. Nandini is aspiring towards a career in medicine while also actively focusing on international development and global issues.
