DAY 1: Wednesday – January 18, 2012
ARRIVE IN NEW YORK & REGISTRATION FOR YA
Upon arrival in New York, transfer to your accommodations in midtown Manhattan. After settling in, register for Youth Assembly. Free time after registration and overnight at your accommodations.
DAY 2: Thursday – January 19, 2012 (B, L, D)
YOUTH ASSEMBLY CONFERENCE
Enjoy breakfast at a local cafe. Transfer to the United Nations Headquarters by subway. Attend Youth Assembly opening session in UN Conference Room. Lunch at the UN Cafeteria. Enjoy a guided tour of the UN after lunch. Continue Youth Assembly Conference and workshops this afternoon. This evening, join in YA Special Event – Culture Night with other delegates and enjoy buffet dinner (we encourage delegates to express national pride by wearing national costumes or outfits to celebrate cultures). Return to your accommodations after the event and overnight.
DAY 3: Friday – January 20, 2012 (B, L, D)
YOUTH ASSEMBLY CONFERENCE
Enjoy breakfast at a local cafe. Proceed to the United Nations for the continuation of the YA Conference. Enjoy a special delegate luncheon today with our outstanding speakers (certificates will be awarded during the luncheon). Enjoy some free time after lunch. Continue Youth Assembly Conference and workshops this afternoon. This evening, join in YA Special Event – the Youth Assembly Closing Reception. Return to your accommodations after the event and overnight.
DAY 4: Saturday – January 21, 2012 (B)
DEPARTURE
After breakfast, check out of your accommodations. With meaningful experiences and friendships, transfer to the airport and catch the flight home with bags full of memories…
