Events at the Annual Youth Assembly at the United Nations are free of charge, contingent upon application and by invitation, only.
Applications are subject to a non-refundable processing fee of $100 per person.
A reduced application processing fee of $65 will be accepted for citizens of the least developed countries as defined by the United Nations.
NOTE: Delegates from these countries must present their identification card at the registration desk prior to the Assembly to verify their eligibility for the reduced fee in order to receive their entrance passes. Delegates who fail to verify their eligibility will be required to pay the difference plus $5 handling fee on spot or be denied admittance to the Assembly.
Groups of 12 or more can take advantage of a special, discount application processing fee of $65 per person ($55 per person for groups from LDCs).
NOTE: Group leaders must be able to pay for each and every group member in one sum during the on-line registration process.
The application processing fee is not refundable. The registration fee net (after bank tax or fee) must be received prior to application review. Applications will be reviewed once complete processing fees are received. Formal acceptance notices will be issued to all approved applicants.
Staying there (Accommodations and other services)
Fully participate in all Youth Assembly Activities
in and around the United Nations by taking one of the travel packages offered by Conference Organizers.
Why Make My Arrangements through the Conference Organizers?
- Friendship Ambassadors Foundation together with our partners are offering affordable, comprehensive accommodations and meals plans, exclusive to Youth Assembly delegates – for delegates from out of town as well as for those locals who want to get the very most out of the activities. From breakfast networking sessions to new, late night events, these plans will ensure that you don’t miss a thing!
- Staying together adds a tremendous benefit to the delegates’ experience at the Assembly because it allows you informal time with fellow delegates, makes exploring the New York City easier and greatly enjoyable outside the planned activities. For your safety and security, as well as to make the entire experience affordable and complete, we strongly encourage this option during your stay.
- The goal of the accommodation plans is to offer affordable accommodation and special networking opportunities to participants. Accommodation Plans are optional and although highly recommended, they are not a prerequisite to attending the Assembly.
Getting there (Travel)
Aspiring participants are kindly requested to arrange their own travel to and from the Annual Youth Assembly, and bear all related cost.
