Special Highlight: The Rhythms of One World 2012

About the Festival

Will you be in NYC this June? Then come to the world premiere of “The Rhythms of One World International Choral Festival.” Headlined as New York’s LARGEST global choral event, 7 legendary choirs from South Africa, Luxembourg, Canada, Trinidad & Tobago, Australia, Norway and USA will be in NYC for 1 week only to perform for the masses from June 25 – June 30, 2012.

An iconic massed choir performance will take place at the United Nations to celebrate the signing of the UN charter, “We the People.” To close this global festival, a spectacular concert will also be held at Lincoln Center, Avery Fisher Hall. Throughout the week, private and public events like music workshops, mini-concerts and flash mobs throughout NYC will take place to commemorate and actively showcase the premiere of New York’s biggest international choral festival, “The Rhythms of One World.”

What makes this festival truly unique is its focus not only on great performances, but on the role of the universal language of music in promoting intercultural understanding, brotherhood, and peace due to it being a production of the Friendship Ambassadors Foundation. Friendship Ambassadors Foundation produces the illustrious “Youth Assembly” at the United Nations twice a year where it brings over 600+ youth to learn about UN programs and global peace initiatives.

So come experience New York’s LARGEST international choral festival this June. You won’t regret it!
