Checklist of Application Requirements:

  • Fully completed registration form
  • A recent audio recording, performed not later than 2008
  • A short biography of the choir in WORD format
  • A short biography of the conductor in WORD format
  • Electronic copies of 2 photos of the choir in high resolution suitable for reproduction
  • An electronic copy of the conductor’s portrait in high resolution suitable for reproduction
  • A proposed set programme (not exceeding 25 minutes)
  • A proposed full concert programme (65-70 minutes)

General Conditions of Participation:

1. Your registration includes performance of minimum 1 full concert programme and 1 set programme during the Festival.

2. Early/ Priority Registration: Register by June 15, 2011 (completed registration documents) for priority consideration to participate in the Festival.

3. Registration is confirmed with a nonrefundable $100 deposit per person to reserve participation in the Festival.

4. All participating choirs are required to stay in New York City for a minimum of 4 nights between June 25- July 1, 2012 in order to be fully involved in the Festival.

5. Event Package Terms and Conditions:

    5.1 Participants (members and all accompanying persons) are responsible for the expense of their transportation/ travel arrangements to and from the Festival.

    5.2 Participating choirs are required to book their event package and accommodations through the Festival organizers Friendship Ambassadors Foundation. Event packages are available in the following categories: Economy, Standard, and Superior Class.

    5.3 For security and event management, participation in the Festival requires that accommodations for the event in New York be booked exclusively through Friendship Ambassadors Foundation.

6. The organizer reserves the right to reject registrations for artistic or organizational reasons.

7. The Festival has the exclusive right to the publicity and audiovisual recordings of the Participating Choirs’ performances and activities during the Festival.

8. During the festival, the participating choirs are not allowed to give further concerts or performances without the organizer’s advance approval.
