SALES AND CLIENT REPRESENTATIVE

Celebrating its 36th anniversary, Friendship Ambassadors Foundation, a nonprofit, global travel solutions leader for pre-formed groups, ensembles, volunteer organizations, and academic institutions, is seeking:

An experienced sales person to develop leads that will attract new groups to its cultural exchanges. The position includes client representation for the group through the tour:

  • Ability to work with a team, bring in new exchange groups and see clients through from contract to tour: sales and client representation as sole client contact throughout the process.
  • Good, proven track record for sales and administration of travel based client groups
  • Knowledge of international, group-based travel a must
  • Knowledge of Academic, NGO, volunteer or arts programming very helpful
  • Knowledge and use of computer, Skype, social networking a must
  • Good phone voice, presentational skills (in person and online), second language helpful
  • Ability to travel with groups when requested; proper chaperone conduct record required

Anticipated Start Date: January 15, 2010;
Office is in Greenwich, CT
